“Galorizzy”: Davido and Ecool release high-energy single after sold-out North American tour

During the North American leg of Davido's international "5ive Tour," the Afrobeats sensation did something not many globally recognized African artists do: he shifted the spotlight back to Africa, headlining a series of large-scale concerts in Nigeria's Akwa Ibom, Adamawa, and Enugu states. Davido and his determined team delivered a wave of high-production shows featuring world-class stage design, LED visuals, pyrotechnics, and festival-grade audio.
With Lagos, Abuja, and Kigali still on the roster, Davido and his team continue to demonstrate a deliberate investment in Africa's live-show infrastructure, emphasizing that world-class production should not be reserved for Western audiences alone. In a recent video recapping their Enugu stop, manager Asa Asika spoke about the challenges the team faced, from handling production and ticket sales to managing security themselves, as they work to show the potential for large-scale shows in often-overlooked African cities."Knowing that you have this amount of people buying tickets before the show is an amazing thing," Asa said, referring to the sale of more than fifteen thousand tickets ahead of their shows in each city.
